Colors... Colors... Colors...

I've been crocheting and even knitting a lot recently and I absolutely have no time to write about it...  :(
I have: many desires;
I don't have: enough time to do all this.
Also I'm trying to sell my crochet works or may be crochet to order. Therefore I created a Facebook page. The page is still fairly empty, I will be adding my works gradually.

So  a little bit of my crochet and knitting...
One day I've finally received a lovely yarn! I'm so happy I've found By Wool shop where I found this yarn! The delivery time was about 2 weeks and a cheap delivery charges as well as I love the nice prices for the yarn.
Here it is my lovely colorful variegated yarn! Lolipop by NAKO from Turkey.

NAKO Lolipop

I love love love the color combination! So I've immediately started to knit beanie for my little Alisha. Despite the fact that I was not knitting a long time.

Rainbow Ridge Beanie

I think the picture below shows you the real color of the yarn.

Rainbow Ridge Beanie 2

More closer look.

Rainbow Ridge Beanie 3

A 3.5 mm needles.

Rainbow Ridge Beanie 4

And 3 mm needles for the elastic bottom border.

Rainbow Ridge Beanie 5

For this beanie I was inspiring by Rainbow Ridge Beanie on Ravelry and I've a little managed the pattern and I've started to knit from the top of the beanie with 10 stitches. Then I evenly increased until I reached 90 stitches. This amount is enough for my 3 y.o. daughter with 48 cm of her head circumference. Also at the bottom of the beanie I made 7 rows for an elastic edge working 1 knit, 1 purl, etc. And I was working with 2 needles instead of circular therefore the beanie has a seam.
Now I'm knitting a garter stitch scarfю

Also I made two granny beanies for my both girls. I found the tutorial a while ago and finally I've used it! :))   It is a very interesting pattern. We are starting crochet with a pentagon and then it transforms to a circle. Take a look at Revlie's blog and see at the tutorial and much more interesting things as well as make sure how interesting and funny she says about it.

For Alisha.
Granny Rainbow Beanie Alisha 1

I've used a different DK acrylic yarn: Stylecraft Special, Sirdar Bonus, Robin, Nako Astra, King Cole Gentle Touch and Pricewise and Patons FAB.

Granny Rainbow Beanie Alisha 2

For the 3 y.o. I finished the increase when I reached 72 stitches. A 4 mm hook, and a 3,5 mm hook for the edge.

Granny Rainbow Beanie Alisha 3

and... and... and... I can't resist and made the cowl with the same color scheme.

Granny Cowl 1

Granny Cowl 4

The size of finished cowl is 52cm x 14,5 cm. For the size I've started with ch 84 joined in ring and made 16 rounds in total.

Granny Cowl 5

And the beanie for my oldest daughter Anastasia. For the 53 cm of head circumference of my 8 y.o. girl I made increase to 81 stitches.

Granny Rainbow Beanie Anastasia 1

Usually she does not want to be a fashion model for the crochet things I'm making for her and for that I'am angry at her. She wants to wear it, and be photographed - no...

Granny Rainbow Beanie Anastasia 2

This beanie has the same color scheme as one crochet set I made in spring and which you have not seen yet. So... I should find these pictures...
and... and...
here they are:
Rainbow Mittens and Scarf.

I finished them on April... When a Blossom Tree in our garden was in blossom!  (is it a pun?)

Ohh ... and on these photos I see that my daughter was happy to be photographed!

I should say you that the pattern I've used I found at The Green Dragonfly blog. I love this blog! Here is a pattern for the mittens and for the scarf.

I can not believe that I wrote so much!!! I never tell you how long time it took! :))

See you next time!
Have a great weekend!

Work in progress. How it was.

Tiny Squares Small Bag wip2

As I wrote earlier I was fascinated by tiny colorful squares from Franciens Haakwerk blog. So the first two rounds I made as it described in the blog above. In 3rd round in white color I made 2dc, ch1, 2dc as a corner, then dc in each of next 6 st, etc. The 6 completed squares I joined with a slip stitch to make 2 rectangles. Then for both rectangles I made a border in hdc in each stitch(in back loops only) along the 3 sides and with 3 hdc for the 2 bottom corners. Then I joined together rectangles with sc. Then I attached the strap and made final border round in sc for a sides of the strap and for a top of the bag.

A few weeks ago I made this set of  Granny Stripe Headband and Mittens. My daughter was a model, but the set also is a present for her another friend. I'm so happy that I have the ability to make different crochet things for presents!

Granny Stripe Headband 1

It's all for today!
I'm very glad to see new followers of my blog. Thank you!
Have a wonderful week!
Till next time......

Tiny Squares Small Bag wip

I have 12 small squares in 12 different colors, now I'm working on a white borders for them.

Another one project I have on the go. Not very bright & colorful as I adore... It's a toddler cardigan for my youngest daughter...

Vine Hill Toddler Cardigan wip

I made the sleeves and upper parts of front and back and  I realize the cardigan turns larger then I need.
I just have tried it on my daughter and it fits perfectly although the sleeves are a little longer then necessary. So I'm happy!!
My striped bag from my previous post is on the same spot because I want to finish a round tablecloth as quickly as it possible. It is a large enough and I spend 40 minutes making the current 33rd round.

      See you soon...

The triangle above was decorated on the reverse side of it.  You can see the green DC border's wrong side. haha...
Are you enjoyed the pictures? Now a few statistic. The yarn I used is Stylecraft Special  DK acrylic yarn, I usually buy at Deramores online yarn shop. The 4 mm/G hook. My favorite. The total amount of needed yarn is 115 g.
As I already wrote I made 12 triangles, but I needed only 9. So three of them were chosen as usual with my eyes closed. :)
Here they are, unnecessary:

Triangle Garland

The marvelous wooden beads I got from eBay as well as 23mm resin buttons.

A few weeks ago I bought round handles for a bag and yesterday I started crochet the striped bag. The  pattern I found on Ravelry.
