Вяжем Барджелло! wip 1

А я записалась в совместник. Будем вязать чудесное (или - чудесный?) Барджелло! Автор этого чуда - Лена.

Я буду вязать детский пледик, размером около 90 см квадрат, ну, или насколько хватит ниток.  :)  Без конца любуюсь на Ленин плед... на то, как там петельки красиво лежат... как гусенички...

Ниточки я выбрала Stylecraft Summer Breeze, это смесь из 73% акрила и 27% хлопка. Ниточка легкая и приятная на ощупь, мягкая. Крючок 4мм рекомендуют, но я взяла 5мм, чтобы посвободнее было. 

Я уже связала образец. Мне нравится сочетание цветов, но не видно совсем  воздушных цепочек-гусеничек... Так же осталась недовольна плотностью - хочу еще посвободнее. Значит, возьму крючок 5.5мм, а может даже и 6! Что касается самого процесса вязания, то вначале было трудновато понять узор, но потом сообразила, и дело пошло быстрее. А ведь это немаловажно - скорость вязания :) Ведь пока вяжешь одно изделие, в голове на очереди уже пять новых толпятся. А у вас - так же?

Хочу еще отметить, что я по-другому соединяю петли в конце ряда. Я делаю соединительный столбик не в третью воздушную петельку начальной цепочки, а в первый столбик с накидом, минуя эту цепочку. Сильно не затягиваю - получается, что петелька соединительного столбика как-бы является верхушкой начальной цепочки. (как же трудно объяснять...) А сейчас я сяду вязать новый образец, а вы пока посмотрИте на одну из огромных тыков, которые съезжаются из разных стран Европы в наш город на ежегодный Тыквенный Фестиваль (Virginia Pumpkin Festival) в конце октября. 

Это моя старшая дочка Анастасия, мы с ней ходили на разведку с утра, пока еще ничего не готово к празднику.

My Dayghter. My Yarn.

A Rainbow Cardigan WIP

My Rainbow cardigan is quickly grows up, actually  it is almost done and I have to do uninteresting things - to make a few short seams and to hide a bunch of yarn tails. And and and.... I need to figure out a way of fasteners... Will it be ties or something else? I absolutely don't know! 

Here you can see the pattern I use as well as this Ravelry link. I slightly modified the pattern - I don't like to make any seams, therefore I made the lower section in one piece - left front+back+right front. Also I didn't make shoulders seams and sleeve seams.  Hope you understand me. Sometimes it is so hard to explain what I mean   :(
I think I will finish the cardigan on this week.
And below I want to show you a few bracelets I made for a couple of minutes using this very simple pattern.

This lovely 2mm satin thread I've used known as "rattail cord" I bought again via eBay.

I took the picture above a week ago watching a Balloon Rise from parkland of Tullynally Castle in Castlepollard.

 We have a rainy and cold weather but I want the sun! So a little bit of sunny pictures taken a couple of weeks ago.

Heart Garland

A long time ago I promised to show you hearts. Do you remember this post about the many of my WIPs... So, number 6 is finished some time ago. It is a Heart Garland! I have planned to make it for the Valentine's Day, but I have overestimated the my speed of crochet and the amount of my free time. hehe.  Therefore the garland was ready for the first day of March.

My inspiration comes from here.

The yarn I've used is Acrylic chunky yarn the following brands: Stylecraft Special, Stylecraft Baby, King Cole Big Value, Hayfield Bonus, Tivoli Eurospun Block Buster. With a hook J/6mm.

I really like the image below! I like how the white border of hearts and the thread stands out nicely on a dark background...

Anastasia and Irish Dance

Hello my virtual friends!

A lot of thanks my dear for your sweet comments for my previous post about my blanket! It is so pleasant to read them!!! ♥ Also a huge gratitude for your wishes for my daughter in her Irish Dance Competition!!! It was her first city competition after almost 2,5 years dance classes. And I don't know who was more nervous - Anastasia or me? So my sweet daughter got 5th place in one of four presented dances!!! It is a good start!  We are so proud of her!!! 

Here she is before the competition...

 ...a little bit excited and tired because we had to get up early at morning and go to Dublin.

And below are we both after the event...

Anastasia is so happy for your medal, and  I look tired but I'm glad about the result and about the end of worries...

And it's all for today my dears... I confess that today I had a plan to show you my new Rainbow project - Coasters and Tissue box cover, but I'm going to leave it for a next time... Let's today's post will be without a crochet! .... however I  started to crochet a pair of gaiters for Anastasia's dance classes that her feet will be warm. I think it will be ready tomorrow!
